My Favorite Things is a show tune from the 1959 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical film The Sound of Music.

In the original Broadway production, this song was introduced by Mary Martin, who played Maria; and Patricia Neway, who played Mother Abbess.

However, in the 1959 film, this song was introduced by Julie Andrews, who played Maria.
