We will not submit ourselves to the dictates of Nigerian government even unto death – Shi’ite

The Islamic Movement of Nigeria, IMN, has vowed that its member would not respect the laws of the Federal Government even if it means them paying the ultimate price.

A leader of the group, Sunusi Koki said this during the burial of some members of the movement killed in during a clash between the police.

Describing the deceased as martyrs, Koki, who conducted the funeral in Kano challenged other members to stand up for their rights.

Koki said, “Every living being will eventually pass away, but the important pride is, at what cause did you pass away.

“Those whom we have la!d here have indeed succeeded. They are victorious because they followed the very footsteps of Imam Husain (AS) who was massacred alongside his followers, for not surrendering himself to the dictate, wish and whims of Yazid Bin Mu’awuya.

“As followers of Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, we shall never submit ourselves to the dictates of the Nigerian government even if our own lives will be taken away by the forces of its security agents.”
