The track was released as the fifth single from the album on July 24, 1999. Its subject matter centres on a man who wishes he could go back in time and to fix his broken relationship with his girlfriend.

The single reached number five (5) on the US Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks, number two (2) on the UK Singles chart and number one (1) in Switzerland, Netherlands and Belgium –where it received a 3x platinum certification.
