Cassie - Long Way to Go

Long Way to Go (Long Way 2 Go) is an electropop R&B song recorded by American singer Cassie, for her self-titled 2006 debut studio album.

Cassie co-wrote the song with its producer, Ryan Leslie.

Bad Boy Records released the track as the second and final single from the album on September 22, 2006 and the upbeat song received positive reviews from contemporary critics.

It had its fair share of success on the charts, hitting Number 3 on the UK R&B Chart, Number 8 on the Australian Urban Chart and Numbers 14 and 17 in Ireland and New Zealand respectively.

On the Billboard Hot 100 however, the single only peaked at Number 97, due to limited radio play.

It’s safe to say this was one of the high school anthems back in the day.
