Kristian Lundin wrote and produced the song, with additional writing from Andreas Carlsson.

The single was released on December 6, 1999 as the fourth single from the album, instantly becoming a hit albeit it received mixed reviews from critics.

It topped the charts in Scotland, Denmark, Ireland and the UK, where it became Spears’ sixth best-selling single and was certified silver.
