Runaway is a hard rock song and debut single by American rock band Bon Jovi, from their 1983 self-titled debut studio album.

Jon Bon Jovi and George Karak wrote the song, while Tony Bongiovi and Lance Quinn produced it.

After the song’s release as a single in February 1984, it became the band’s first Top 40 hit –peaking at Number 39.

Tidbit: It was during the rehearsal for the song’s live performance that the band Bon Jovi was born.
