In the US, it peaked at Number 23 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and reached Number 4on the UK Singles chart.
Tidbit: This song was originally titled Broken Wings but was changed a few weeks to its release due to legal issues regarding Mr. Mister‘s 1985 hit song of the same, which it samples.
