I Wanna Know is an R&B song by American R&B artist Joe, from his 2000 third studio album My Name Is Joe.

He co-wrote it with Joylon Skinner and Michele Williams while producing it with Tony Nicholas and Timmy Allen.

The song originally appeared on the soundtrack to the 1999 movie The Wood.

After being released as a single, it became a major hit across the US, peaking at Number 4 on the Hot 100 and at Number 2 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart

It eventually topped the Adult R&B Songs chart and is definitely one of Joe’s career highlights.
