I Can is a conscious hip hop song which is the second single from American rapper Nas’ 2002 sixth studio album, God’s Son.

He wrote it with its producer, Salaam Remi. Its lyrics exclusively contain words of advice to kids while the production samples Ludwig van Beethoven‘s infamous Für Elise.

The track was released on February 11, 2003, receiving majorly positive reviews from critics.

In the US, it peaked at Number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100, 7 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and 6 on the Hot Rap Tracks chart.
