Belly Dancer (Bananza) is a hip hop/pop song served as the fourth (4th) single from American singer songwriter Akon‘s debut studio album, Trouble, released in 2004.
The song, which samples Fun Boy Three’s The Lunatics (Have Taken Over The Asylum) and Treacherous Three’s Body Rock, also borrows from the chorus of Buffalo Springfield’s For What It’s Worth.
Belly Dancer reached the number thirty (30) position on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number five (5) on the UK Singles Chart.
