Victor Velmo - Quietly Ft. Yung6ix

Victor Enwere Ogbonna (born September 27, ) popularly known by his stage name VICTOR VELMO, is a Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter and hip hop producer, from Umuhaia north, Abia state. Music started for Velmo back in high school and he took it professionally in 2014 and has since released chart topping singles. He has worked with the like of Jaywon, Magnito, Yung6ix, LK Kuddy and more. His approach to music is lightly different from the rest, his sound is a blend of Hip Hop, Afrobeat, and a touch of indigenousness owing to his Igbo background. Musical influences are Drake, Jay Z, Olamide, Phyno, Flavour & Wizkid.

After several singles, in 2016 he released his first body of work The Sprout EP in February on soundcloud for free. The EP was received with positive reactions from music critics, the Pulseng compered his style with renowned indigenous rapper Phyno. Aka Nelu was the most accepted song from the EP, it peaked at number one on the Cool Abuja top 10. The EP was followed by a listening party organized by ‘Train’ at Silverbird galleria Abuja. The Sprout EP was followed by a sequel Sprout 2( in progress ) in 2017 and shortly after the release he came in contact Sound Factory Entertainment.
